Brett Deutsch arrived at Byron Dragway on Saturday, October 30th with one mission: to set a new world record.

To accomplish this feat, Deutsch would need to pilot his 1969 Chevrolet C10 Duramax truck to a quarter-mile elapse time of 7.440-seconds or quicker. On Deutsch’s third attempt of the day, he set a new world record for the quickest, non-dragster, diesel vehicle with an incredible 7.289 elapse time at 175.41 miles per hour!
